Children who suffer encopresis often begin to feel that there is little more to them than the problem itself.
In this cartoon book, the problem is embodied in a troublesome character and placed external to the child. This serves to free the child from the blame and shame of soiling and may help to mobilise previously beleaguered resources within the child and their family.
